The Cross versions also feature a spoken intro by Taylor, as well as a spoken refrain in the middle. The refrain in the Taylor vocal has an extra lyric not sung in the Mercury-vocal version though it appears in the printed lyrics. Both versions end with Taylor saying "And that. Is the end.

Of this section. In the US, the album featured Taylor's vocal version and neither were released as a single. The song, Taylor noted, "had some good stuff about love and dignity; the usual Heaven For Everyone - Queen - Made In Heaven thing. It was directed by David Mallet and released Heaven For Everyone - Queen - Made In Heaven A second music video for the song, directed by Simon Pummell was included on the Made In Heaven: The Films VHS and features Cypriot-Australian performance artist Stelarc operating a robotic "third hand" to symbolise a new era of man and machine.

The music video for The Cross version involved Taylor singing the song on a beach-like setting, while elderly people walked past the band and climbed up ladders to reach heaven. After Freddie Mercury's death, as Queen prepared to complete their posthumous album, Made in Heaventhis song was selected to be re-done by the band as a Queen song. The lead vocal Mercury recorded in Heaven For Everyone - Queen - Made In Heaven given a new backing track and new backing vocals. A significant difference between The Cross versions and the Queen version is that there's no spoken introduction, refrain or "end" as done by Taylor on the original.

Queen Heaven For Everyone - Queen - Made In Heaven offered no explanation as to why these elements were dropped. It was the first UK single Cat. A planned two-part single, the same song with different B-side tracks was issued 30 Octoberone week before the album's release. For the single releases, a single version was prepared, editing some instrumental portions of the song almost a full minute's worth.

Queen version [4]. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. I think I prefer Brian's vocals to Freddie's, purely for the feeling in them - Brian sounds like an older man looking back, while Freddie sounds like someone who has suddenly made a mistake, and is feeling vulnerable.

Instrumentally, I prefer this version, it has more power to it. The guitar solo is more pronounced here, and what a difference a drummer makes! Roger does a masterful Red Steagall - Lone Star Beer And Bob Wills Music, starting off with some light work in the third verse, and really sinking his teeth into the chorus.

Oh, yes. The only thing wrong with this one is its chart position - it should have been much higher! It Heaven For Everyone - Queen - Made In Heaven a song that lends itself to being remixed countless times. Possibly because it isn't terribly brilliant. The keyboard part is quite catchy, and Brian's solo in the middle almost turns it into rock, but it is still a dance song underneath.

This one probably originated from John, or as a collaboration with Freddie, there's definitely that "Hot Space" feel to it - a descendant, probably, of Back Chat, with the difference being that Back Chat is quite good.

This one is the let down track for this album. It's tolerable, but it's just nothing at all special. Another exquisite vocal performance from Freddie here. This was the last song he ever wrote, and it is quite special, very poignant. Freddie is looking out and describing what he sees.

He is really painting a picture here. As Freddie sings, you can envisage all of it going on. Children playing, smoking chimney tops, sitting by the fireside, beautiful. The Hot In The City (Exterminator Mix) - Billy Idol - Vital Idol song is very lovely.

Not quite up to the standard of some of the other stuff on this album, but very evocative. Not typical Queen by any means, but the obvious choice for the Christmas time single. Not much to say about this one - it's pretty much the same as the opener, but with a bit more of a beat to it, and a few flashbacks. Just speed the original up slightly, Heaven For Everyone - Queen - Made In Heaven unleash Roger, and this is what you get.

There's one final "yeah" in it, which is listed as a separate track. Exactly why, I'm not sure. I'm ignoring that for this and counting it as part of this. Needs mentioning, as it isn't an addition in remastering, but an original track. As such, it requires to be listed, reviewed and rated. Atit's the longest track on a Queen album by far. Live versions of Brighton Rock lasted 9 and 12 minutes respectively, and The Perfect Storm - Before The Dawn - Rise Of The Phoenix Song, the longest studio track previously, weighs in at just No vocals as such, just Brain Burn - Anvil - Pound For Pound odd mutter from Freddie in the middle, and briefly at the end.

It's quite monotonous, really, and drags on for too long. Towards the end, about the last two or three minutes, it gets interesting, gets a bit of feeling into it, but to me it is just a slog. In General: Ignoring for a moment the reprise of the opener, which although it's OK isn't really all that integral to the album, and the minute piece of background music at the end, this album is great, probably equal with Innuendo.

It's got their best ever song on it - Made In Heaven, which, originally as a solo song for Freddie, was somewhat lacking instrumentally - and a lot of good deep songs that strike an emotional chord.
